Driver Terms & Conditions – Nash Industries Courier

These Driver Terms & Conditions (“Terms”) govern your use of the Nash Industries Courier driver platform and any work offered by Nash Industries (“we”, “us”, “our”).
By registering as a driver, accepting work, or using our systems, you agree to these Terms.
1. About Us
Nash Industries Courier provides same-day and scheduled delivery services throughout the United Kingdom.

2. Driver Status
Drivers operating through Nash Industries Courier act as independent self-employed contractors unless otherwise agreed in writing.
Nothing in these Terms shall create:
- an employment relationship;
- worker status;
- a partnership; or
- a joint venture between you and Nash Industries.
You are responsible for your own:
- taxes and National Insurance;
- insurance;
- vehicle costs;
- fuel;
- maintenance;
- licensing requirements; and
- legal compliance.
3. Driver Requirements
By working with Nash Industries Courier, you confirm that you:
- are legally entitled to work in the United Kingdom;
- hold a valid UK driving licence suitable for your vehicle class;
- maintain valid vehicle insurance including courier or hire-and-reward cover where required;
- operate a roadworthy and legally compliant vehicle;
- provide accurate and truthful information during registration;
- will maintain professional conduct when representing our brand.
We reserve the right to request proof of documentation at any time.
4. Job Allocation
Jobs may be offered through phone, messaging, email, or our online systems.
Nash Industries Courier does not guarantee:
- minimum earnings;
- minimum job volume; or
- exclusive work.
Drivers are free to accept or reject offered jobs unless otherwise agreed.
Once a driver accepts a job, the driver agrees to complete the delivery professionally and within the agreed service expectations.
5. Collection & Delivery Responsibilities
Drivers agree to:
- arrive at collection and delivery points on time where reasonably possible;
- transport goods safely and securely;
- follow any reasonable delivery instructions;
- maintain communication during active jobs;
- immediately report delays, incidents, breakdowns, or delivery issues;
- obtain proof of delivery where required.
Drivers must not leave goods unattended unless authorised.
6. Prohibited Goods
Drivers must not knowingly transport:
- illegal substances or items;
- dangerous or hazardous goods without proper licensing;
- explosives, flammables, or corrosives;
- firearms or ammunition;
- live animals;
- stolen goods;
- prohibited items under UK law.
If a prohibited item is discovered, the driver must immediately notify Nash Industries Courier.
7. Driver Conduct
Drivers are expected to behave professionally and respectfully toward customers, staff, and third parties.
The following may result in immediate suspension or termination from the platform:
- abusive or threatening behaviour;
- repeated lateness or non-attendance;
- dangerous driving;
- fraud or theft;
- falsifying delivery information;
- misuse of customer data;
- drug or alcohol impairment while working;
- actions likely to damage the reputation of Nash Industries Courier.
8. Payments
Payment terms will be communicated separately or agreed per job.
Unless otherwise agreed:
- payment is made 7 days after successful job completion;
- failed collections or cancellations may be paid partially or not at all depending on circumstances;
- payment adjustments may apply where incorrect job updates or serious service failures occur.
Drivers are responsible for ensuring their payment details remain accurate.
9. Cancellations & No-Shows
Once a driver accepts a booking, the driver should make all reasonable efforts to complete it.
Repeated cancellations, abandoned jobs, or no-shows may result in:
- reduced job offers;
- temporary suspension; or
- permanent removal from the platform.
10. Insurance & Liability
Drivers are responsible for maintaining all required insurance policies including:
- vehicle insurance;
- courier/hire-and-reward insurance where applicable;
- public liability insurance where required by law or contract.
Drivers may be held responsible for losses arising from:
- negligence;
- reckless driving;
- unauthorised actions;
- theft;
- misuse of goods;
- breaches of law or these Terms.
Nash Industries Courier is not responsible for:
- vehicle damage;
- fuel costs;
- fines or penalties;
- loss of earnings;
- mechanical failures;
- personal injury unless caused directly by our negligence.
11. Use of Platform & Systems
Drivers must not:
- attempt to interfere with or bypass our systems;
- misuse pricing information;
- share customer details externally;
- use our platform for unlawful purposes;
- impersonate Nash Industries employees.
Any login credentials provided must remain confidential.
12. Customer Relationships
Drivers acknowledge that customers introduced through Nash Industries Courier remain customers of Nash Industries.
Drivers must not:
- directly solicit customers obtained through our platform;
- attempt to move customers off-platform;
- provide competing quotes to active Nash Industries customers without written permission.
Breach of this section may result in immediate termination and legal action where appropriate.
13. Suspension, Removal & Termination
We reserve the right to suspend, restrict, remove, or permanently terminate driver access to the Nash Industries Courier platform at any time and at our sole discretion.
This may include, but is not limited to:
- breaches of these Terms;
- customer complaints;
- failed collections or deliveries;
- repeated cancellations or no-shows;
- unsafe or unprofessional conduct;
- suspected fraud or misuse of the platform;
- actions likely to damage the reputation of Nash Industries Courier; or
- operational or business reasons.
Drivers acknowledge that access to the platform is not guaranteed and may be withdrawn without prior notice.
Where a driver is removed from the platform:
- any outstanding payments or refunds will be assessed solely at the discretion of Nash Industries Courier;
- we reserve the right to withhold, reduce, or refuse payment where we reasonably believe losses, damages, complaints, misconduct, or breaches of these Terms have occurred;
- removal from the platform does not remove the driver’s responsibility for any outstanding liabilities or obligations arising prior to termination.
Drivers may stop using the platform at any time by notifying us.
14. Data Protection
Drivers must handle customer information responsibly and in accordance with UK data protection laws.
Customer information must only be used for completing the assigned delivery.
Sharing or retaining customer information for unrelated purposes is strictly prohibited.
15. Changes to These Terms
We may update these Terms from time to time.
The latest version will always be available on this page with the updated revision date shown above.
Continued use of our platform after updates constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.
16. Governing Law
These Terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales.
Any disputes shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England and Wales.
